i've emailed UE directly but haven't heard anything back. it's so confusing! i found those amazon questions online too but they didn't really clear anything up. If you learn anything let me knowĭamn man, i'm so glad to find someone else with the same thoughts. It’s already borderline questionable with their terrible descriptions. If it is a different edition, I really will be quite disappointed with their ability to distinguish two completely different products. I’ll have to make a proper judgement when I actually get the speaker. So basically I learnt nothing, other than I think it might only come with a cable, not a plug, and the battery may or may not be different. One showed 55 watt_hours, which I believe is just the wattage of the speaker itself, another showed 15 watt_hours, it’s supposed battery life. Obviously this wasn’t too helpful, so I thought I’d look at the “normal” versions. Looking way down the product description, it does say “11.52 watt_hours”, but looking at other boom 2 variants I just made myself more unsure.įor example, the black/yellow edition (which is another colour option on this product page) has no mention of Lite (hmmm.) and doesn’t even mention it’s battery life any point in the description. One thing I did find was a couple of answers in the Q&A section, which claimed the Lite version came with a usb cable only, and a battery life of 11.5 hours compared to 15 hours. Why would they not put it in the initial product title, or anywhere in the description? And as you said, why is there essentially no reference to this online? What I don’t understand is the only thing suggesting it may be a LITE version for me is the name of the colour variant in a drop down menu. I have basically the exact same question, bought mine off of amazon for £79 today down from £119.
